EngineerZA
Hi All, My wife and I are planning a trip to Aus in Feb/March and will be visiting Perth and Melbourne as we have friends there we would like to see and both seem like places we could enjoy living one day in the future. At the end of our trip I planned to visit both Sydney as well as Brisbane/GoldCoast, however, trying to squeeze in both places will be too tight on the timeline as we would only have 1.5 to 2 days in each city excluding the days we fly in or out. Due to time pressures, I was wondering which area we should drop off of our list. I was thinking of keeping Brisbane/GoldCoast as we could then spend a few days relaxing there as well as just see what the 2 cities have to offer. But... Sydney is the big city in AUS...s o would it be clever not going to see what its like there? Very difficult decision, what are your guys thoughts? Thanks! OubaasDik
What is the aim of your trip? Is it a holiday, or are you wanting to look at places where you can settle, get a job and so on? If it's a holiday, Brisbane. If you're looking to get an idea of the liveability of the cities and look for a place you want to work in, go to the city that offers the most jobs in your line, because that's where you're most likely to find a job. Holidays can wait till later. Edited January 7, 2016 by OubaasDik grammar
