dirkv
Hi Guys, One of those questions... We are currently investigating a move interstate, to Sydney. Please assist with the names of one or two good primary schools (State is fine)? We are currently looking at suburbs, and I'm hoping to find a good school, in a good family friendly suburb. Thx
Settled
We stayed in Frenchs Forest / Davidson - all the schools there are great. We were at Mimosa public. The local high school seems pretty good too and there are lots of private options too. Not sure if they're more strictly zones now that when we arrived. All in all though, we were very happy in the area, and there are a lot of Saffers there. Good luck.

Thx Sydney have over 600 suburbs across 40 LGA's, it's hard to give you an idea of schools if we have no idea what suburbs you are looking at? Riekie
The Sydney schools are really high standard and in every area you live, you'll find a vast variety of schools: public, private, independent, selective, catholic, international schools etc. No matter where you move to, you'll have enough to choose from. It's very hard to find a place to live based on finding the best school first - especially if you have no idea what you're looking for. I'd recommend finding the best area in relation to your work location, lifestyle and preferences and then find a school in that area. If your kids are older, many kids take the train from the suburbs to the city for instance to attend expensive private schools. At the moment you're trying to find a needle in a haystack...
