Pell Posted December 20, 2015 Report Share Posted December 20, 2015 Just wondering how any of you out there with kids in year 12 survived the HSC year? Did your kids/you find it stressful? Was it easy for your kid(s) to get a good ATAR? Did you have them tutored? For those of you who moved with older children, did they find the HSC year hard? We moved to Oz in December last year, and my daughter did year 11 here. Moving was quite traumatic for her, at such a sensitive time in her teenage years... Even though she gets quite homesick often, she adapted socially very well, she made friends at school, but it was a little harder than we thought academically. She was quite academic in SA, and is the same here, so she puts quite a bit of pressure on herself to do well. Just wondering how everyone else out there who is in the same boat coped with it.
