We have a client with 40 users and a single person IT department looking for a Systems & Network Administrator for a 3 month contract part time 4 to 5 hours a day based in Melrose Park SA.

Below are their requirements list:



Mandatory, experience with :-

Microsoft Windows Server 2012

Windows desktop environments (Windows 7/8/10)

VMware virtualised environment

Symantec Endpoint Protection (or similar)

Shadow Protect backup (or similar)



Highly Desirable (if available), experience with :-

IBM iSeries (AS/400) systems operations & backup

IBM iSeries SQL (create inquiries only)

ERP systems in general



Tasks

Provide operational support and administration of all server and network infrastructure located in the head office.

Provide user support at the head office & remote branches.

Run day to day processes on IBM iSeries as required.

Run day, week, month & year end processes on IBM iSeries

Manage system updates on MS Servers & IBM iSeries

Manage backup & restores on MS Servers & IBM iSeries

Install & support PC software

Manage mail server

Manage applications (Phocas, SharePoint, salesforce, Meridian Payroll etc.)

Manage Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)

Install & support printers

Phone and Voicemail system maintenance
