TiaanAndLeigh
Hi AllWe are heading off on our big adventure at the end of April, and I am wondering if there is any paperwork or documents that we need to get ahead of time to take with us (excluding all required for application, we have all those already). I'm thinking letters of good standing from the banks, etc. Any ideas or advice? Thanks!
OubaasDik
The bank stuff won't really mean much. Take them if you wish.Information re money you may have in SA banks may help if you have to prove ability to pay for things, but in general, if it isn't in Oz, it won't mean much.A letter from your estate agent who sold your house, or letting agent who rented you your house to say how ell you looked after the place, to flash at any agents here in Oz when renting would help. Can't think of anything I needed - I had to build up a whole credit history from scratch. Mara
I took a letter from our car insurance, to prove our no claim status, our insurance company in Australia, at that time acknowledged it.
Crossedover
Bring renal references... If you did not rent bring a reference from your estate agent that sold your house.Bring road to health cards for the kids.If your child gets any extra help due to some issues at school get those teachers to write up a reportReference of being a member of a church if that is relevant.Good luckX
