Kanniewagnie
Hi, I can get furnished accomodation in the Beldon area for $550 per week. Please tell if this is an OK area to stay for a month or two untill our container arrives?Did any of you deal with 'Jan' (a lady) before?I just want to make sure that she can be trusted (you hear so many people paying for places that in the end does not exist)Thank you, hope to get some feedback soon, because we are landing 2 March in Perth. SurferMan
Jan Darmondy -http://www.homeaway.com.au/holiday-rental/p403981074http://upsticksandgo.com/location/kallaroo/I ran a quick "make" for you and could not find any adverse things, but that is not exhaustive. Tread lightly Kannie.
RYLC
Compared to AirBnB, the price seems okayhttps://www.airbnb.com.au/s/Kallaroo--Australia?guests=2&room_types%5B%5D=Entire+home%2Fapt&property_type_id%5B%5D=1&ss_id=c10mxal1I prefer Airbnb because it is usually somebody's home and they have books to read, maps, herbs and spices in the pantry as well as the host being available to ask questions. Last place we stayed on holiday was at the beach in Queensland and there were boogie boards to use, umbrellas, deck chairs, board games, you name it. So much nicer than a sterile hotel or furnished rental. And all these listings are $100 or under per night so $700 a week or less.https://www.airbnb.com.au/s/perth?guests=2&room_types%5B%5D=Entire+home%2Fapt&price_max=103&property_type_id%5B%5D=1&ss_id=c10mxal1There are a few for only $60 a night for the entire apartment. Titus
A little late to the party.... But if you're still looking for accom, I can highly recommend Jen from http://www.perthfurnishedrentals.com/We used them when first arriving. Had a fantastic welcome pack waiting. Accom was walking distance to transport etc.
RichardH
I dealt with Jan just under 4 years ago when I was in a bind. My furnished rental which I got from http://www.stayinperth.com/ was coming to an end and my rental was only due 3 weeks later. I managed to rent a place of hers for 3 weeks at short notice. She is a super lady and was very helpful, but the property was not the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Anyway it helped me out and all was good. The properties at http://www.stayinperth.com/ in my opinion are excellent and a lot cleaner. Hope this helps
