Bob
Unfortunately, I don't use forex to exchange between Australian dollars and South African Rands.I have just transferred $10 000 for holiday funds to London (Barclays Bank account) and am astounded at how much more I get thro foreign exchange companies compared to what the big high street banks will give me . . . . a difference of 211 Pounds, to be precise.Anyone switching ten, twenty, fifty times that amount isn't doing their homework by going thro their local banks.I would recommend a forex company any day.
