Hey! :ilikeit:

Was just wondering if there is any DE fitters that have done their TRA?

There is no trade like it in Oz bec they use different trades for different aspects of my job.

In SA we do everything

I currently work for Transwerk Maintenance where I maintain Diesel Electrical Locomotives.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi If I were you I would try for diesel fitter , they are in very high demand and the thing in oz are as soon as you want to touch any electrical stuff , you have to do the whole electrical certification thing .

They are very strict with electrical work even just to remove something small like a fuse or a plug , you have to have the license.

That's also the reason for instrument trades people being dual trade here is oz ( electrical /instrument technicians )

Hope this will help with your problem.

regards ,christelle

Mauritz
