Crossedover
Hi I am a qualified teacher with 10 years high school and 7 years pre school experience... Looking for a high school teaching post at the start of the new year (2015). Obviously I am looking to teach in a nice school... As we all are I am sure...And I want to know if any other teachers have advise on what is required from me from the time I get (hopefully) my visa. We have applied but we still have to do our medicals. Also I have 3 daughters ... Any good school suggestions primary and high schools in the northern suburbs..... We can't afford private schools... But we want the best we can for our girls. Thanks everyone x

AndreaL
If you can't afford private, but don't want to do state, look at Christian/ Catholic schools as the fees are usually a bit lower.
Crossedover
Thanks May and AndreaL.... Research thru google is great but it's nice to know human opinions.... Thank you. Those 3 schools come up again and again. We are very spoilt where we live now as the government schools are little gems.... And to be moving my girls is going to be so hard. I am very concerned about academics.... Being a teacher! I guess that is natural .... Any body know a gorgeous nurturing primary school ? I think my girls will start yr 3 yr 6/7 and yr8... Guest May
I think being academics we put a lot of emphasis on learning but remember there are so many trades here that need people of all demographic groups. So long as they happy .....and not still on my couch at
