Nishi
A strange question but is it worth bringing over our enormous totem bags for school?
HansaPlease
A silly question, but... What are they?
AndreaL
I think it is what we would call backpacks http://www.totembags.co.za/category/product#Orthopaedic-School-Bagshttp://www.bigw.com.au/sports-leisure/luggage/sports-bags-backpacksIt depends.....at most state schools any backpack will do and you can get them easily enough anywhere, I would suspect that private schools will have them available at the tuckshop or uniform shop with the school logo on. State schools also have them, but not too many people buy them, depending on the age of your kids they will need a homework bag and a library bag. Nishi
Yes they are huge bags to accommodate our hours of homework lol.So how do I work out the size of the bag they need for school?
Sunnyskies
Looking at the website they look about the same size as the bags my kids have which are regulation size for their schools . I would not recommend the trolley bag, I don't see kids using them, although a number of adults use roll on luggage as suitcases (having to deal with an injury to my rotator cuff as a result of dragging roll on luggage over a long work trip I wouldn't recommend this - rather take less paper home.) AndreaL
They don't need a huge bag. In primary school children tend to have one class teacher and their books are kept in the desk in the classroom, so really they are only carting their lunch, waterbottle and hat each day. They will take their homework folder home on a Monday (usually an A4 book and one sheet of questions and perhaps a home reader) and only return it on Friday. The kids bags seem to be more for cosmetic purposes than carting books.
