OubaasDik
I don't know. Mine was somewhat above that, and I had to answer questions about why I kept SA citizenship when I got Aussie citizenship.Maybe if you ask the agent?I was able to find this http://www.online89.com.au/index.php/o89-knowledgebase-menu/o89-government-related-info/114-security-clearancesWhere it said:"Australian security clearances are normally only granted toAustralian citizens whose backgrounds can be checked for the requisiteperiod of 5 years for base line clearances, 10 years for negativevetting clearances and whole of life for positive vetting levelclearances.Australian citizenship is a condition of eligibility for securityclearances. In exceptional circumstances, your agency head may waivethis requirement if the risks can be otherwise mitigated."These are the people who do it, but not much info on their site http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva/
