Kevinw
Hi ThereHas anybody converted their SA bike licence in NSW? We've been in Aus for 10 months on a PR and I'd like to get a bike licence again. Do you have to go through the learner, provisional steps or does it work the same as a car licence, where you just re-do the test and get an unrestricted licence straight away? I've had a >125cc bike licence in SA since August 2003Thanks
Dedrei
Hi KevinHubby also had a 125CC licence and in Aus the licence is for 250CC.This is what he had to do.Had to write the test, go for Qride lessons, go back and do the driving test and voila you have your licence for 250CC. So basically you do it all over, but you don't have to wait a year on a learners licence.CheersD
