Jeanene46
rsteyn
Hi Jeanene46Welcome and congratulations on the big decision. As for using an agent if you are going the 136 Route on your husbands qualifications or skills you need to do an ACS assessment. If your husband does not have a formal qualifications (degree) you will have to go the RPL route a bit harder but can be done did mine that way.As for the agents, we used ACN and they where great with the RPL but lacked in 136 the application part of the process. This is what I will suggest use an agent for securing the Skills Assessment and then do the main application your self. There is more than enough info on this site to help you out and if you get stuck just ask there are allot of people that have done it them selfs.Good Luck and welcomeCheersRudi Edited April 3, 2007 by rsteyn

If he has programming & project management or even ERP applicaitons skills - there will be work for himOff hand if I remember - some of these are already on demand skills on the MODL listYou should also surf some of the recruitment websites like Seek, MyCareer, JobSearchThere are tons more - just go to google.com.au and search on "IT job search"rgdsmatman

Jeanene46
Hi Matman, I'm Leon, Jeanene's hubby. Yes I'm an Oracle and MS SQL Server DBA, I currently receive vacancies from Seek-IT. It seems as if there is positions available but I would like some information from someone in the industry, do you know of any DBAs that I can contact.RgrdsLeon
