Mechanical Engineer seeks job?

Hi All, were a family of 4 mom dad son (12) daughter (9), and we have recently received our PR (190 skills visa sponsored Victoria meaning we have a visa condition is that we live and work in Victoria for at least 2 years) I am a Mechanical engineer with extensive experience in Heavy industry and maintenance, I also have some experience in mining and power stations, I keep a vigilant lookout on all the job search sites but thus far no success as they would prefer me already living in Aus, our expected date of arrival will be toward the end of August 2013 and any help in the job search would be appreciated??

Perhaps try the company websites directly. I'm more familiar with Queensland and its mining areas but you could google Victoria.

I would certainly apply via an expression of interest to BHP, Rio Tinto and Newcrest as some of the bigger companies and then look on career one or seek as well.
