Lynnie
A man came home from work and found his 5children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with emptyfood boxes and wrappers strewn around garden, The door of his wife'scar was open, as was the front door to the house and no signof the dog, walking in the door, he found ...an even bigger mess.A lamp had been knocked over, the throw rug was against one wall, In thefront room the TV was on loudly with the cartoon channel, the familyroom was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, thefridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a brokenglass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by theback door.He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and morepiles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill,or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickleof water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered insidehe found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor.Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared overthe mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wifestill curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel... She lookedup at him, smiled and asked how his day went. He looked at herbewildered and asked, 'What happened here today?'She again smiled and answered, 'You know every day when you come home from work and you askme what in the world do I do all day?...''Yes," was his incredulous reply...She answered, 'Well, today I didn't do it"

Alida
Hahaha, oooooh yes, I am 'n stay-at-home mommy of three under 8. I do everything myself during daytime till daddy come home - cleaning, teaching my children, disciplining, cooking, shopping, planning, making and repairing clothes, tend my veggie/herb garden, visiting and assisting grandma, being a nurse, trainer, instructor, wiping tears and butts, having friends and other mommies over. I allow NO ONE to underestimate my day's worth of work ! There was a study done in America not so long ago where they compared what a mother do in one month, to all the job descriptions she fulfills on a daily basis. The worth of the occupation of full-time motherhood, was estimated at $ 75 000 a month. I could do with that !! I think this topic should be moved out of funnies, this is serious stuff !!
