celeste Posted March 12, 2007 Report Share Posted March 12, 2007 Hi everyoneDoes anyone have any contacts in the advertising/printing/publishing/newspaper industry?We are planning to end up on the Gold Coast but don't mind Brisbane if work calls us there. My husband is on a British passport and is apparently allowed to work in Aus for a year without a visa. We have just applied for the 138 skilled sponsored visa. he is a senior graphic designer working on apple mac and I'm a senior newspaper journalist. It also has contact details for the industry specialist recruiting agencies.In our very humble opinion, the Brisbane market is generally more repro-orientated. We live in Durban at the moment which is also not exactly the ad agency capital of the country so will take our chances in brisbane/gold coast.
