You should still be able to find a professional who specialises in a certain field. Maybe ring the registration board, etc. Psych appointments can get very expensive, so it's worth asking upfront about costs and rebates. Bronwyn&Co - I am sure there are fantastic Australian family counsellors around, however, I do think it might be better to go to someone, who might have the same point of reference and kind of knows where we come from?
