Pieter en Lindie
Hi every one,Need some advise again. Can anyone tell me if it is sufficient to certify your documents at your local police station. I ask this beacause I have red that you need to certify all documents by a commisions of oath. If this is the case, how do I go about obtaing this.Thank you once againRegardsLindie
Johan Swanepoel
If the local cop shop is valid, then you could also go to the local dominee. They are normally able to do this as well. Your local bank should also have someone who can certify documents for you.Good luckJohan
Liesl24
Hi Lindie,I have also read the dubious posts on this forum about certifying copies through the police. You can go to any attorney and they will do it for free for you - just check the yellow pages or internet for the one nearest to you. (I can really recommend Snyman & De Jager for anyone in Centurion - brilliant guys!!)Rather be safe than sorryLiesl
Camper
We were told not to have them done by the police. Lucky for us our neighbour is a attorney.CheersCamper
schoemie
We've done our documents at the local police station where we live. They excepted it that way and we had no problems with it! So, police station is fine!!!!! Tip: make sure that they (police officer) give the telephone number as well with +27 and the code of the area in front of the number. What they basically want is the name, designation and telephone number and the signature of the police officer. Good luck!
