Sparrow
Hi guys.I need help please. I’ve applied to include my son to our PR (subclass 136) visas. He is one month old and at this stage only has a temporary passport which is valid for one year. I’ve applied for his permanent passport, but this may still take some time to be issued. In the visa application forms (40CH and 47CH) details to his passport is required. Can I use details of his temporary passport or should I rather wait for his permanent passport? I don’t want his visa to be included into a passport which will soon to expire. When renewing or receiving a passport, what is the process that needs to be followed to have the PR visa transferred???Thanks,
JJV
As far as I know you don't need to get the visa transferred. All that is required is for you to carry the original (in the expired passport) along with the new passport.
