fisherman
Hello everyone,We got our Pre grant letter this morning !!! THANK GOD!!!! We cannot believe that all the waiting has finally come to an end. an indication of our time line is as follows:TRA Approved - 15 June 2006.IELTS Passed - 09 August 2006.Application Lodged - 04 September 2006.Frontloaded MEDS and PCC's - 05 February 2007.Pre grant received - 07 March 2007.In between those dates we have done nothing other than wait!!! We have really left it in God's hands and he has opened doors for us along the way. We are truly thankful for all the support we have had along the way and hope we can continue that support to others. During this process we have really learn't the following:IF you have time to do the application yourself - DO IT. It was a couple of weekends downloading forms / filling them in and sorting out documents necessary for attachment with to the application. we have saved almost R13000.00 by doing it ourselves.Hang in there, every morning when we woke up we thought would this be the day? Everything we bought (not that much) was always assessed as - Can it be taken with? Since we started gathering paperwork in March 06 our minds have remained focused on our goal and it has now been achieved! Good luck to each and every one of you applying. and see you at the DBN coffee club on the 25th!!!RegardsFishermans wife.

Dax
Congratulations! Now you should: * Start to learn theword of "Advance Australia Fair", * Find our why the big star on the Aussie flag have seven points * Start packing your bags But seriously as well, when you fly here to come and stay, get onto Quantas and give them your particulars as people migrating to Oz, what they have done for us was to give us a discount on the fares as well as allowing us extra kilograms on our luggage. All that only because we flew with them when we migrated to Oz. Give it a try, I'm sure it still work like that.Cheers,Dax Edited March 7, 2007 by Dax
