Warehouse Administrator

Market leading gift and homewares online retailer is looking for a full-time Warehouse Administrator to manage the full warehousing function in Brookvale.

Immediate Start.

An attractive remuneration package, commensurate with your qualifications and experience will be offered to the right candidate. You will also be provided with training.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you are directly responsible for the day to day running and operation of this busy warehouse including the recording of all stock movement onto a computerised retail management system, the checking of stock received for damage/short deliveries and managing returns to suppliers. Other duties will include picking stock and the invoicing thereof, allocation of stock to orders, updating computerised customer, supplier and stock files and the dispatch of orders.

Your position also requires you to liaise with freight companies and customers on orders dispatched. You will be accountable for precise record keeping, monthly stock counts, the accuracy of stock lists, the matching and filing of all orders and supplier’s delivery notes /invoices, stock and warehouse layout, cleanliness, security, etc and the management of minimum stock quantities. You will be expected to audit freight company invoices before their payment.

Ideally the candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, good computer knowledge ( including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and retail POS and retail management systems), and a working knowledge of OH&S requirements. Strong administrative skills, a team player with a high energy level, a willingness to ‘go the extra mile’ and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels are crucial to this role.
