They're looking for a site supervisor who knows their stuff in AV, has a very strong work ethic and has great attention to detail. This person will work hand in hand with our engineers, programmers and project managers to ensure our client's expectations are exceeded in quality of workmanship and functionality of a complete audio visual solution. The job spec is yet to be posted on SEEK, but please send me a PM if you are interested or know someone who is. The company will be prepared to offer 457 sponsorship for a candidate who ticks all the boxes.

MrsMupersan
I've had some questions regarding the positions on offer so thought I'd answer them here too.a) The company is looking for 1 project site supervisor and possibly 2 installation technicians. The roles will be permanent and, if you are still in SA without a PR visa, they will be prepared to sponsor you on a 457 four year visa. We are illegible to apply for ENS PR in November and all indications are that this will go ahead without a hitch. Unlike with our first sponsor, we have not once felt like the company has held the visa over our heads for any reason. They really don't play silly games here - they genuinely want to increase their skills base and if they have to do that from overseas, that's what they have to do. c) Yes, the company has sponsored 457 and ENS 856 before. Our HR person has vast experience in this area and is most helpful.d) The reason that they're looking for Saffers is that they are impressed with our work ethic. We get things done and when presented with obstacles, we find solutions instead of just throwing our hands in the air and waiting for someone else to fix it. We take responsibility for our work and get things done.I think that's it for now. If you've got any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
Graham W
Hi mupersan. I was under the impression that a guru is an Hindu term for one with great wisdom and authority.I also was under theimpression that you do not accept direct emails as you would prefer to keep it on the forum.Audio visual engineer Butler Perth. MrsMupersan
Cramer, not sure what he expects - must any interested parties post their resumes on open forum? Yeah right! But that doesn't take away from the fact that we are trying to find experienced audio visual techs - either already in Perth or in South Africa. Spoke to our HR lady today and she says they really are very keen to start interviewing. Have only received one resume from a guy already in Perth. Was hoping that there'd be some word of mouth advertising here to friends/family of forumites wanting to get out of SA.
