Rod
Hi allAny suggestions which is a good suburb to purchase a house with schools nearby? We stay in JHB's northern suburbs, is there anything similar in Perth. Also, which suburbs are experiencing the most growth?Regards,Rod
The Parsons Family
Hi RodThere are many very good suburbs in Perth but as usual where you end up buying all depends on how deep your pockets are and how far from the city you are prepared to stay.Have a look at aussiehome.com they have a few homes for sale/rent and they have charts to show the growth of all the suburbs around Perth. Also have a look at whereis and Google maps they will give you a good idea about the layout of suburbs.Have you had a look at Reiwa and realestate they are the best sites to look at homes to either rent or buy.We are looking to buy in Hillarys/Sorrento and if we win the Lotto Churchlands/Floreat. I think the best place to live is north of the river and west of the Mitchell Freeway but thats because that is the area we really liked. I am sure there are other fantastic places but..... we think those are the best Happy hunting,Gaille Edited February 16, 2007 by The Parsons Family
Joeemm
Hi guysWe're also looking to buy, having been in Perth for about 7 months we like Padbury, Duncraig, Warick, Hillarys (but thats a bit expensive for us) and similar. I agree North of the river is nice, I like the corridor closer to the sea and not more that 45 min from the City. You can also try http://www.ninemsn.com.au look under property, even so,I reckon we'll pay a bit of a premium for a while, but beats paying someone elses bond hey.Hate to state the obvious, but make sure you get the place checked out thoroughly first, one chap bought largely in the strenght of Telstra assuring him he'd have ADSL coverage, next thing they've given his second line to someone else! Not sure what suburb, but anyway
