Annette
Hi LonzoMy husband is an architect. He does lots of planning permissions for small extensions. If you PM me your phone number then he will call you back and come and have a look to advise you what would be the best. He won't charge you anything for that. Yes, everything in Australia is expensive. Building is too, but there are many ways to keep costs down, especially if you can source some of the materials yourself. I know Marius always says about $1000 per sq metre is a good rough estimate but it depends on the type of room and the type of materials used, e.g. kitchens and bathrooms are a lot more expensive. Anyway, send your details then you can take it from there if you want.
