So, we have 2 weeks left in SA before we leave for Canberra.

I applied for numerious positions in Canberra.... sigh....

Not even an e-mail to say we have received your resume

Is it because my current address is still in SA and my contact numbers are +27 ? :(

Or what ????? Am I wasting my time ?????

My resume is in the Ozzie format and cover letters are very thorough....

Should I apply only once I have landed in Oz  Will it be more positive then?

JUST NEED TO VENT....

Hi,

The best option is to look for jobs after you land. It's too stressful now anyways. Many have found work within two weeks of landing (may not be the ideal job - but pays dollars) you can look for the right job later. I have tried to 100's of companies about a year ago, then gave up. They are just not interested until you are there.
