Verskoon ek skryf so bietjie engels en afrikaans deurmekaar, dis omdat ek al so verengels het. Maar se nou eers vir my waar is al ons skrywers heen? en daars maar net so 'n paar posts vir 2010. Daar was 'n tyd wat ek aaaaaande om gesit en lees en lag het en verlang het om so gou moontlik in Oz te kom, nou is daar geen stories meer oor nie. Some folks hang around after emigration but we find that the vast majority move on with their lives and within six months of arriving, no longer feel they have a need to visit our forum. Then given the hold with Australia put on so many visas over the past 18 months, I guess there were fewer folks arriving. Also, those that were arriving were mainly on work sponsored visas where they had to hit the ground running and no time to really spend with us. Of course, then there is also the huge growth in personal blogging, which many have done to document their journey. Pity, but that is the way of the electronic age, here today and gone tomorrow!
