I dont think any one is doing fireworks, perhaps contact MIndarie Marine, they normally used to do, but I think the council has some issues this year.

There are no fireworks planned in Perth for the New Year. The BIG fireworks display will be held on Australia Day on 26 Januarya 2011.

There are fireworks in Mandurah at 9pm and again at 12pm. The train runs all night from Perth to Mandurah. Takes 48 minutes. then there are free express buses to get you from the train station to the foreshore. The Mandurah foreshore venue is a family venue and is smoke and alcohol free. The fireworks happen over Manjar Bay. We take our littlies to the 9pm one. The love it. Best of all - its all free.

Why not include dinner at Spur which is right on the foreshore. Just phone and book a table. So have dinner at 6pm - 7pmish and then walk around the market and stalls and listen to the bands, and then watch the fireworks at 9pm. Catch a train home at 9:30 and be in bed by 10:30pm.

New Year's Eve Celebrations on the foreshore are set to go off with a bang this year with fireworks at 9.00pm and midnight and three fantastic live bands to count down the last minutes of 2010. Another great family friendly, no alcohol event.

This year's New Year's Eve Celebrations have a 'wild west' feel, with entertainment from Unwritten, Courtney Murphy and Murphy's Lore and Renegade.

Unwritten is the name of the hottest new talent in Mandurah, three drop-dead gorgeous teenage singers and dancers who are set for a stellar show biz career.

Courtney Murphy and Murphy’s Lore are one of Australia’s most experienced and respected pop/rock bands. With a history spanning two decades and countless performances both international and local, Murphy's Lore deserve their famous reputation and are highly regarded by industry leaders.

Last but certainly not least, Renegade deliver a rocking performance of country classics and re-worked ‘country-fied’ pop/rock favourites. Their fun-filled tongue in cheek stage show never fails to get toes tapping.

To complete the fun there will also be carnival rides for the under-eights and a bucking bull.
