Company delivers service solutions from project scoping and design through to construction, implementation and facilities management to municipal and industrial clients. This position leads the civil/structural design team in a variety of high profile projects in Alliance work, In-House design and Design & Construct contracts.

As the Principal Civil Engineer in this business you will act as technical reference authority in the civil/structural engineering discipline. In a youthful and high performing team this is your opportunity to lead and mentor a group, while giving clear direction and guidance.

Furthermore you will develop and maintain design methodology to ensure accuracy, consistency and standardisation of design within the department, supervise and take technical control of and responsibility for groups of professional engineers engaged in complex engineering applications, and act as the company’s lead technical interface to client organisations.

• Significant experience in design and engineering for the Power industry

• Technical staff supervision experience

• Experience in a ‘Design-for-Construction' environment

• Tertiary Engineering Qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering

• Ability to lead and supervise other engineers

• Ability to mentor and develop other engineers
