We have bought a 1926 vintage car in Albury but we R in Bunbury WA so having major problems trying to get the car back here. transport co's don't really want to touch it because its fragile so we'll probably fly 2 Albury to crate it ourselves & take it to railway or harbour to be shipped 2 us. My thoughts tho R to fly there buy a cheap 4x4 and a trailer (that we could sell again on this side) & drive back to Bunbury but hubby 2 worried that we break down as u can't trust yr buying a reliable vehicle. So I'm just writing to all the Saffers in Albury in case someone has a brainwave on how we could do this. the car cost $3000 & now it seems getting it here will cost even more! bummer Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
