Ek voel nou dom, het probeer search op die forum maar kry nie dit wat ek soek nie....Waarheen gaan ek om dit te kry? Binnelandse sake? Helenaek het my geboortesertifikaat by my ouers gekry, en dit toe net na Engels laat vertaal. Julle behoort julle eie huweliksertifikaat te hê (of hoor by die kerk waar julle getrou het) - dit moet ook vertaal word. Ek is seker daar sal iemand op Worcester wees wat so iets in 'n amptelike hoedanigheid doen, anders kontak jy net die Afrikaans- of Engelse departemente by Stellenbosch Universiteit, daar sal wel iemand wees wat dit kan doen. Daar is vorms daar om in te vul.As jy nie 3 maande wil wag nie, dan is daar mense wat dit binne 2 weke kan kry teen `n premie. Ek het onlangs bunnyhop.co.za gebruik.Hoop dit maak dinge makliker. Riekie Posted January 29, 2007 Report Share Posted January 29, 2007 Hierdie is die vorm wat jy moet invul (jy sal sien daar is blokkies om te merk watter tipe dokument jy nodig het - merk Unabridged Birth Certificate).Dit kos R50 en vat 6-8 weke (in teorie..... ) Jy moet vir elke sertifikaat 'n aparte vorm invul en R50 betaal. Bedoel jy Caledon?Worcester het ook 'n binnelandse sake tak, die rye is vreeslik lank op 'n Maandag en Vrydag, die res van die week is die middae baie stiller. Ek was daar toe ek 2 jaar terug getrou het en aansoek gedoen het vir 'n nuwe id en paspoort, gelukkig ken ek nou die manager daar (het my sommer daar agter in sy kantoor gehelp), die blerrie persoon by die toonbank was te dof! Toe "moan" ek bietjie en dis hoe ek hom ontmoet het. Baie dankie nogmaals, julle vinnige responses maak die hele aansoek proses BAIE MAKLIKER! Ons sal in elkgeval eers Mei maand ons aansoek kan indien, want my man kry eers sy 1 graad dan. Of kan mens die goed nou al instuur sonder dat mens die sertifikaat aanheg?Dankie oor die antwoord wat ons daar moet invul. In my case, the unabridged birth certificates took around 10 weeks. My unabridged mariage certificate however was not forthcoming, and I was forced to use a private company to obtain it (cost me R600, and took about 1 week) in order to lodge my PR application. This was around May/June last year, depsite having applied for it in Dec 2005.About two weeks ago I went to Home Affairs to apply for a new passport. Whilst there, and seeing that the Collections queue was short, I tried (for interest's sake) to see if my unabridged marriage certificate had arrived yet. No surprises, it had not. Linda Posted January 30, 2007 Report Share Posted January 30, 2007 I applied for 2 unabbridged birth certificates (for me and my husband), our unabbridged marriage certificate and my baby's passport at the same time ... collected everything but the marriage certificate about 10 weeks later. Every time I phoned or went there for the marriage cert they just said that it wasn't ready. Eventually I got head office number out of them and spoke to a very helpful lady who told me that they're looking for the BI30 document (the one that you and witnessess sign when you get married) and if I can get hold of it, it'll speed things up. I phoned the dominee, he faxed it through to me, and I faxed it to home affairs with a word document printout of all the information set out clearly. A week later the stuff was captured on the system and it was ready to be printed. But of course it wasn't that simple, when I went in to home affairs to collect it, they couldn't "find" it on the system. Die prys was diselfde as wat hulle nou vir jou gese het. Dis maar baie geld, maar die proses was pynloos. Hulle het vir nog n fooi die dokumente na ons to gekoerier. Dit werk baie goed as jy nie tyd het om by binnelandse sake uit te kom nie. Ons het van die VSA af aansoek gedoen. Ek was gister weer by ons Binnelandse Sake, die vrou (met die baie tyd) het toe gesê dat daar 'n "probleem" by Hoofkantoor is en dit sal maande vat! Ek het nie regtig maande om te wag nie, ons gaan reeds omtrent 'n jaar wag om die visa te kry sodra ons aansoek gedoen het.....ai, dis frustrerend.Vraag:Het mens daai "witness" vorm ook nodig as mens aansoek doen vir 'n unabridged marriage certificate? Die van julle wat wel Bunnyhop gebruik het, verduidelik asb kortliks watse inligting hulle wou hê.Dankie vir almal se raad en kontak details, word opreg waardeer!! Rich Posted January 31, 2007 Report Share Posted January 31, 2007 Hi All,Just wanted to let you all know. We used bunnyhop to get unabridged birth certificates for me, my wife and son. R395 per certificate and they said we'd get it back within a week. I was happy to hear this but thought it's probably a bit of exaggerated sales talk and even if they took 2 weeks I'd be happy enough.On Monday (29 January), Leigh-Ann from their Pretoria office faxed me the application forms. We deposited the money into their account and faxed back the forms late afternoon (4pm). On the covering letter I put that we urgently require them before 8th Feb (as we're flying to Aus on the 9th). I just got a call from Leigh-Ann (5pm, Wednesday 31st Jan) to say the certficates are ready. It only took two days - must be some kind of a record !!! I understand Helena's concern about the cost - R395 is a lot compared to the R60 you pay if you do it yourself, but if you need them urgently and they can pull out the stops and get them to you within 2-5 days then I think it's worth it. At least you save yourself the worry, and if it means you can submit your application 6-12 weeks earlier then I think it's money well spent.
