Guest Bronwyn
Thanks Dax - appreciate it!We are in Adelaide and have settled on Burnside Primary so far. Heard good things...The big first day is tomorrow. We have the uniforms, the lunchboxes and the school bags. Two very nervous parents, probably more so than the kids... Regards, Bronwyn

Regards, BronwynG'Day Bronwyn,If you enrolled the kids in Burnside Primary You have opted for one of the best state schools in Adelaide.I don't know any teachers there, (I teach in the south of the metropole) but i know that Burnside is a highly regarded school. The kids should be fine! The will find their Aussie teachers a bit different, more relaxed, accepting, and willing to give a kid a go. Equal opportunity is the watchword in each classroom in Oz!They may enjoy the "no exams" culture, but don't let them be fooled, each student in the system is carefuly assesed continiously to ensure they stay on top of expectations for their age group in all learning areas. Al of the best!

Dax
Veral in plattelandse areas is daar gedurig poste beskikbaar aangesien nie almal daar will skoohou nie. Grote Dax (Nog 'n Johan)
