Police Clearance validity

Hello,

I can't remember how long my PC is valid for?

With this $%^&*#$ IELTS test, my timeline has been extended by nearly 3 months.

The current PC I hold is dated June 2006.

Is it 6 months or 12 months?

I think you will have another problem as well unless you can be here by June 2006. I would get new Police Clearance certificates now and send them.

The certificate is valid for a year, and your visa entry time will also be dated on the earlier day of Police clearance and medical certificate. It sound like you did what I did and sent them in with our application in June 2003. We were asked in January to go for medicals and told to get new PCC, or our last entry date would need to be June 04. ( A year after the PCC date). We got new certs in Feb, so the earlier date was the medicals in Jan. We then only got the visa in May due to them loosing some paperwork and not telling us untill I asked what was happening.

They lost or misplaced one of our childrens birth certificates at DIMA and did not say.

Luckily I scanned and numbered every single page and included an index of what was on what page. I sent electronic copies and refered them to the page numbers. The next day the visa was approved.
