The close up pictures may not be uber high res, but I like that you can go back a few months to see previous snaps, and also that they update far more often than Google earth. I mean, come on, Google earth updates like what, once every 5 years? (slight exaggeration).

I use nearmap on a daily basis in order to see what the development progress is on some of the residential developments around Perth.

The one photo of our area even shows my daughter in the pool.
