Enrica Posted August 5, 2010 Report Share Posted August 5, 2010 On Friday 12 November 2010 Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi will join 3,000 people in Forrest Place for the annual 'Turning on the Christmas Lights'. This popular annual celebration will officially open the City of Perth's Festival of Christmas. Families will be entertained with a spectacular theatrical show that will conclude with the Lord Mayor 'throwing the switch' to light up the City's 100,000 Christmas decorations. A highlight of the decorations will be the spectacular 13 metre high Christmas Tree in Forrest Place which will be illuminated with over 2,000 individual lights. As always, Perth's most beautiful buildings and walkways will be adorned with festive decorations.Event Opening HoursFriday: 7pm to 9pm ...... EricaCan't believe it - will be our 1st Christmas in OZ Hope they put the decor and trees out soonish because we didn't bring ours.YIPPEEEEEEEEEE CAN'T WAIT :ilikeit: :ilikeit: So who is getting involved in local community house lighting competitions???
