Supervisor

This position is responsible for motivating and providing leadership to a multi-disciplined team, or teams that are responsible for undertaking a wide range of construction and maintenance activities associated with Council’s water and sewerage infrastructure assets in accordance with recognised standards in a professional, efficient and confidential manner. Carpenter

An opportunity exists for a qualified Carpenter to join the Asset Services team. This position is responsible for providing carpentry activities primarily in the construction of minor capital building projects and maintenance in a professional, efficient and confidential manner ensuring the development of good working relationships with all staff and the public. Salary up to $45,784.29 (dependent on qualifications and experience), plus a 9 day fortnight and relevant allowances.

Strategic Planning Officer

Rockhampton Regional Council is seeking a motivated and experienced Strategic Planning Officers to join the Infrastructure and Planning team. This position is responsible for providing an efficient, effective and timely strategic planning and development service to the Council, public and external agencies in a professional, efficient and confidential manner ensuring the development of good working relationships with all staff and the public. Salary up to $65,404 (dependent on qualifications and experience) and a 9 day fortnight.

Administration Officer (Permanent Part time)

A great opportunity exists for a part time Administration Officer to join the COIN Academy team. This position will be responsible for providing customer and administration support in a professional, efficient and confidential manner ensuring the development of good working relationships with all staff and the public. Salary up to a pro-rata amount of $52,191.

The COIN Academy, a joint initiative between Rockhampton Regional Council and CQ University, aims at assisting community members to gain and increase their computer and Internet skills.

The Land Use section is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join their team for a period of 12 months. This position is responsible for promoting compliance with and understanding of the town planning scheme and other legislation administered by Council in a professional, efficient and confidential manner and for ensuring the development of good working relationships with all staff and the public. Salary up to $92,262, plus a 9 day fortnight.

Plant Operator/Labourer (Yeppoon)

The Infrastructure and Planning team based in Yeppoon are searching for experience Plant Operator/Labourers. This position is responsible for undertaking a wide range of plant operation and labouring tasks as part of a multi-disciplined team that is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the Council’s infrastructure assets in accordance with recognised standards. Applicants are required to have appropriate licences and experience in the operation and maintenance of multiple plant. Salary of $44,362 per annum plus any relevant allowances and a 9 day fortnight.
