Eks oppad na OZ , klaar met kwalifikasie - evaluering , IELTS en nou besig met die lang wag - het nog nie 'n case officer nie. Bly in Polokwane - was in die ou era Pietersburg genoem. En baie onwettige immigrante van reg oor die kontinent deel deesdae my eens rustige, vredevolle tuisdorp . Ek is 'n beancounter van professie, praktiseer vir eie rekening en gee klas vir potensiele rekenmeesters by die plaaslike universiteit. Baie mal oor my klas gee werk en sal defnitief in OZ ook weer probeer om te kan klas gee -. Maar ons plaaslike SARS - ontvanger van inkomste kantore se gebrek aan doeltreffendheid het defnitief bygedra tot die besluit om maar eerder te gaan! Ek werk deur 'n agent, my partner (wat Britse en SA burgerskap het) doen eie visa deur die internet en ons hoop en bid om teen die einde van die jaar te gaan. Beplan dan 'n effense anderste LSD - het klaar op OZ besluit, maar die waar is die groot vraag -so 'n tipe van gap year vir volwassenes - (het nie kinders nie) - wil 'n bakkie met 'n kappie en 'n rooftoptentjie kry en dan vir 'n paar maande die plek goed uitkyk voor ons settle. Ek dink ook dis miskien nodig om bietjie te normaliseer na al die violence en crime . Eks meer 'n plattelandse mens - partner meer stadsgeorienteerd - so ons sal kyk tot ons 'n plek kry waarvan ons hou en waar daar darem werksvooruitsigte is! So as daar enige iemand is wat ook eers geswerf het voor julle gesettle het, sal ek bly wees vir enige insette. Gedink om by Perth te begin en dan om te werk Gold Coast toe! Till last November I had a logcabin their in the bush and was there every weekend! Previously had shares in the Iron Crown - genuinely! U'r damn right on the beauty of my place, but boy of boy , show me the place in OZ which compares to Magoebaskloof and I'm there in no time! Guest Larry Posted January 19, 2007 Report Share Posted January 19, 2007 About six or seven years ago, I was on holiday at Noosa on the Sunshine Coast with my parents. I had to return to work in Melbourne and they wanted to continue their holiday at Coolangatta at the south end of the Gold Coast. - So I took them there..... and then continued on to Melbourne non-stop. 23 hours!! - The crazy things that you do when you are young! From Coolangatta, I drove down towards Byron Bay and then turned westwards through Lismore and Casino through to Tenterfield, where I met the New England Highway and continued my southwards route....Parts of that stretch between Lismore and Tenterfield reminded me of Magoebaskloof.
