Is it a given that once you have handed in your application that you will get a visa?

If all your medicals are 100%, IELTS acceptbale, TRA assessment successful - do you then automatically get a visa or can they still deny you one (for whatever reason?)

Do you wait the actual 2 years (give or take) before you know anything - if you have been approved or not..?

Where in this whole process do you sell your house - when you've sent in your visa application or only once you have gotten the approval?

Skies vir al die vrae maar ek's clueless :ilikeit:

The visa is definitely not a sure thing until you have the grant letter. Do not sell your house!!! Especially if you are a 175 applicant. There is huge talk at the moment of automatically rejecting all those in the waiting list. Look for the thread on the Bill being passed in parlament to enable this to happen.

Besides the auto rejection of thousands there is alwways something that could change. your skill might fall off the required list for example.
