Cramer
Hestie The Mega 105WR router is wireless, so if the laptop has wireless (Most Do), you can switch it on and connect that way, you will need the security settings but your service provider can do that for you. Then hubby can sit in his easy chair and surf, alternatively there should be UTP ports available on the back of the router that you can plug a standard cat5 network cable into, and you should be able to connect easily without doing anything because the router should assign all the details automatically. Jordy
the way we do it is easy as pie. Turn on the laptop and let it find all available wireless networks. Click on your own wireless network and say connect. It will either ask you for your WAP key or your HEX key. Look under you modem at the barcode sticker. Both keys are printed there. Type it into the pop up box on your lap top and you are connected.I presume your wireless router is also your modem.
