Serendipity
Not adelaide but sure the price wont be far off. Our quote was to MelbourneGot a quote last week JHB-PER-MELabout R27,500.00 one way with 40kg allowance. This was 3 adults, 1 child (keep in mind my one child has not yet turned 12 but will be 12 by the time we fly)Think either way those are the prices your more or less looking at. Unless the 40kg is a must have have a look at VAustralia. We booked for the 4 of us and it cost R14,800 one way MEL

zoot
Try asking the airline whether you can get the 40kg as you are migrating - reading on some of the British sites seems that people have been able to get the allowance through a variety of airlines. Requirements seem to be something like unvalidated visa, one way ticket. Worth checking out your options.

Serendipity
Can someone pleeeeeeeease give the URL for IOM?? I've googled to no avail - I just cannot find the flights part...http://iom.org.za/site/index.php?option=co...ct&Itemid=3Your not going to find much (if anything) regarding immigration flights on the site, its a very confusing website.Best you can do is call them, then send via email a copy of your grant letter and who will be flying (eg: 2 adults, 2 children) andmore or less the date you wish to depart. They will not quote unless they either see your Visa's or the grant letter.Contact Tumi rabothata@iom.intI made one phone call, then sent an email. Got my quote within 24 hours.
