Riekie Posted March 3, 2006 Report Share Posted March 3, 2006 Most towns also have a "rest area" with public toilets, picnic areas (some have a free to use gas BBQ), play area for kids and huge map of the area on a signboard - even the smaller towns. They will have signage from when you enter town to direct you there, but they are usually right next to the main road. It is really great travelling through Australia with such facilities!
