Police Clearances and Birth Cert's and Dual/Tripple Citizenship

We are applying for our PR visa 136 shortly.

I need to know, for how long back do you need Police Clearances. We have been in UK for 6 1/2 years, do we do clearances for UK and SA?

Also - my children were born in the UK and I have full birth certificates for then (issued by UK), but they are still SA citizens........do I still need to get full birth cert's for them?

We are also getiing our British passports shortly, but will still be dual SA/UK citizens. Can you have tripple citizenship (SA/UK/Oz)?

You need to have police clearances for all the places you have lived in for the last 10 years.
