Tania
Hi All,I’ve compiled a list of things to do .Hi WannaB OzzieFirst things first: you need to renew you passport first as this can take up to 6 - 12 WEEKS , at the same time apply for your FULL UNABRIDGED Birth Certificate and to hit "2 vlieë met 1 klap" get your unabridged marriage certificate. The children need their own passports, full birth certificate as well. Our agent advised us to go for the Police Character Certificate and Medical Examination when the case officer acquires it as it is only valid for a certain time (think ?9 months).Your skills assessment needs to be assessed before you apply for the visa. Capiche? This is a laaaaaang leër om te klim - we handled this whole application process as one big project with "deadline" dates. We applied July 2006 for all the Home Affairs stuff, August - Qualification papers in English, September - Skills Assessment, December couriered application and now we wait and wait and pray and pray and wait ..... Next Saturday - the 13th IELTS test Best of luck! Tania Edited January 4, 2007 by Tania
