outlander andrew Posted January 3, 2007 Report Share Posted January 3, 2007 My kids used MIXIT to send SMS in RSA at a chargem of close to nothing per message.Does anyone know if it is possible to use MIXIT in OZ as my daughter spends a lot of her pockety money on mobile credit (20+ ozcents per message)This MIXIT was so cheap that the kids could actually get addicted to it. Swerwer Posted January 4, 2007 Report Share Posted January 4, 2007 She should be able to browse to the www.mxit.co.za/wap site with her phone from Australia as well, just download the MXIT java application using the menus and then use it from there. You see MXIT uses the internet as communication medium, meaning that as long as the phone can access the internet via GPRS or similar it will work just fine.
