HouseInOz Posted December 11, 2009 Report Share Posted December 11, 2009 I bought a Garmin Nuvi 200 series in July 2009 whilst in SA, but alas do not know what the implications will be to use this in Australia.Is it worth it that I buy maps (where, how and how much) of Australia, or should I rather buy something else (a new GPS) when we move there in July 2010. I do have an iPhone with the Mobile Maps, Sygic AU NZ software on it. I am not sure whether I can use the iPhone in a car in Australia? Buy an Aussie map card (easiest option, just plug in the Aussie card and go).or2. Load Map source, buy the Aussie maps online with their unlock code which will allow you to transfer and use the Aussie maps on the GPS.You then disable the SA maps or simply remove the card.RegardsRichard Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
