(only good things, & what great value & friendly service)You don't mention if the other hotel rates incl. any meals or if that is the cost for the entire stay, so I will assume not in which case the rates seem high. But it might be Australian school or public holidays (try & avoid these times if you possibly can as prices can double or even triple during holiday time)How will you be travelling around the cities ? beware of additional parking fees at hotels which can be astronomical especially if the hotel is in the city. If you are relying on public transport then a location close to at least 2 forms whould be a good idea. Each person has their own requirements & standards, so I am very wary of travel agents.If you have a few hrs & fast internet connection I would research & book online. Use a local Aussie search engine like Google Australia use the "search pages from australia" option & put in a few "key word/phrases" in inverted commas & you will be surprised at some of the deals available at places like quickbeds, knowhowtravel & australian flight center . You can use the same system for researching an establishment but change the key words to "review or eperience or report". Have you booked internal flights yet ? ... I found Virgin Blue exceptional value (specials end 4 Jan) especially if you are prepared to travel around midday Tues-Thurs (no business travellers or commutes at these times so prices are great e.g. Mel - Syd AU$ 85 all incl.) You can also try Web Jet for other airlines discount flights & explore the flight & accomodation/car hire package options with airlines they can offer good value ...Good Luck & enjoy P.S I always find it far more fun planning & booking myself than just handing over my credit card to the travel agent ! Sover lyk ons datums as volg:Vlieg 28/3 vanaf JHB na Sydney. Vlieg 1/4 vanaf Sydney na Adelaide en 5/4 vanaf Adelaide na Melbourne. Vlieg 8/4 van Melbourne terug JHB via Perth! Geniet dit in Wildernis, wens ek kon julle join daarso. So vrek warm hierso ek kan dood.Hier is 'n paar fotokies van die view vanuit ons kamer! Die Hotel Van Rensburg is nou wel nie so luuks nie, maar ek hoor dis baie gesellig . Andersins: WotifMens kan net 28 dae vooruit bespreek, maar die pryse is onoortreflik...
