I was thinking of doing an african christmas..make a potjie with all the traditional south african trimmings....whip out all the african themed stuff and play some afrikaans music...

i think it will be fun and make a nice change to the gammon and chicken.,,.

just an idea..

Christmas Eve: Dinner at friend - seafood only allowed- crayfish, prawns etc

I am having a typical Italian Lunch - Christmas Day.

Antipasto- Artichokes, Olives, boconcini wrapped in Parma Ham, Coppa , and pickled Mushrooms

Primo- Ravlioli con sugo al la Napotletana

Secondo- Roast leg of lamb with contorni ( veggies)

Dessert: Panetone al la Cassata

Christmas Day early dinner will be a beef roast, gammon and turkey, with yorkshire puddings, veggies, gravy etc

hmmmmm can't wait, I can already smell the cooking thats going to be happening.

Having the usual Christmas lunch! Roast Turkey with stuffing, veggies, roast patatoes, rice! Christams pudding! WINE,WINE and more WINE!! And listen to the kids fight about who's prezzies were best!!

Then more wine!!!
