Pippa
Morning Everyone,I’ve read somewhere on another forum that one should be careful of buying a Sony Playstation 2 in the UK / South Africa, as the Australian games might not work. As you know, boys will be boys... and my husband is very keen on buying a PSP (Sony PlayStation Portable), but we are unsure as to whether a South African bought PSP will be able to play Australian games. I think he will definitely stock up on games before we leave for Australia, but it would be nice to know if a PSP (bought in South Africa) can play Australian games.Anyone with experience?I look forward to hearing from you!Lovies, Pippa! fritzradda
I just bought two for my kids. I bought from an importer in Cape Town, and the price is way down on the retail price. It is also suposed to be region free. have a look at http://japan-premium.com/ . I bought from the guy and all is okay.I got two kids (10 &11 yrs) and we are planning to tour Aus for 3-6 months in a campervan while our PR gets done. I thought a PSP would be a way to keep them busy....lets see..

PC allow 5 changes of zone, then thats it. but I use software to override this.
