PERTH ACCOMODATION

Hi

Looking for advice on self catering accomodation in Perth for myself and wife. Will be there for 4 days (23 to 27/10) prior to going over to Adelaide. Not planning to hire a car so will rely on public transport to see the sights in and around Perth. (Is this a good decision?) Websites like STAYZ offer a huge selection, I would like to narrow down the choice a little in terms or areas to consider.

Thanks

With regards to whether or not to hire a car will depend on what sights you are wanting to visit.

You need lots of time if you want to explore using Perth's public transport as buses in certain areas are very infrequent.

As far as I can remember a day rider ticket on Perth's public transport is about $8.80

You can check out the maps and timetables here:

This is one of the many car hire companies around.

My suggestion would be to hire a car, as you are here for a very short time and although the public transport system is good, the trains run every 7 minutes during the day but the buses are less frequent and if you miss the bus you have to wait awhile (except during peak times) which could be very frustrating for you as your time is very limited. Bayswater car hire as suggested by Sirus is +-$25 per day.

Enjoy your trip

Tookie
