Guest Larry
Take a look at Lonely Planet.I was introduced to them by a Kiwi mate when I first arrived in NZ. They are actually Melbourne-based. I use my Lonely Planet Australia Guide for planning all my Australian trips. sonnetjie
The only one I really know of is the “lonely planet series” http://shop.lonelyplanet.com/product_detai...2815&affil=lpdpWe often use them when we travel. See related title on the right hand side of the page.
Riekie
I love the Dorling Kindersley Series of Travel Books, Pocket Size Travel Guides & Maps etc. They're user friendly, full of colorful writing & pictures, covers everything you need to know and to the point. I always find them VERY useful! Check out what's available @ www.dk.com Enjoy!!
