Joeemm Posted September 17, 2009 Report Share Posted September 17, 2009 Hi AllThis may be a bit techi for this forum, but anyway, I'm an Ubuntu (Mark Shuttleworth got this going a while back) Linux user and I've recently installed 9.04 and everything works fine even got Skype working, BUT, when ever I try to start the mail client called "Evolution" I like the name don't you ;-)I get prompted for my default keyring password. I have delved into many Ubuntu Forum posts but nothing seems to help, can anyone here offer a hint or helpJoseph Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Cyberdeth Posted September 17, 2009 Report Share Posted September 17, 2009 I haven't used ubuntu in a while. I do however work on a mac, where the keyring concept was "borrowed" from. Have you tried to backup the old keyring, create a new keyring and then import your old values into the new keyring ? Also PLEASE backup your data before you try this.
